Dr. David Hildreth is a 1970 graduate from the University of Missouri.  During his 7 years at the University, he met his wife Jacqueline.  They will soon be celebrating their 40 year wedding anniversary.

Dr. Hildreth began his veterinary career in South East Missouri in a mixed practice that specialized in swine.  His next step was to become a meat inspector in IL for the USDA at a swine slaughtering facility.  From IL, he crossed the country to Auburn, WA where he worked in a very busy mixed practice for 1 yr.  At the end of that year(1974), he purchased Lake Sammamish Veterinary Hospital in Issaquah, WA.  His roots went deep in Issaquah and some are still there (one of his daughters still lives there with her husband and four children).  For the last year, he has been operating a house call practice on Whidbey Island.  After communting from Issaquah to Whidbey Island weekly for several years, Dr. Hildreth is happy to be located full-time on Whidbey Island and looking forward to using his many years of experience to help your pet!
